Cheap, quick to build defensive turret that can easily be constructed on asteroids as well as space platforms. One turret does little damage against anything larger than a fighter, but enough of them can stop destroyers in their tracks.

Able to shred incoming fighter waves in moments, the draw back to this defensive structure is it's high power usage. The results cannot be disputed, however.

The pinacle of defence technology, the Acheron can take on entire fleets by itself and win. Several of these can stop even the largest of enemy armadas, and the cost and build time are just as exceptional is it's combat abilities.
