Basically a high-speed carrier, the Velocity's role is to transport battleships and other capital ships into (and out of) combat at incredible speed. Armed with a rack of 16 tactical nukes, this ship is absolutely deadly - until it's missiles run out. It replenishes it's arsenal very slowly, making this unit ideal for initial base bombardment before pulling out to await reloading.
